About Sea Change Therapies
A Safe Space For Change
Sea Change Therapies started from a conversation where we acknowledged the lack of accessible, affordable mental health support in the local community. We recognised that many people, despite wanting support, were unable to access counselling due to the cost of private therapy, and long NHS waiting lists. We agreed that meaningful support and the hope for change shouldn’t be a luxury, and that quality mental health therapy should be within reach for everyone who wants it.
Out of that conversation emerged a vision — to create a not-for-profit therapy service that would be both effective and affordable, ensuring that no one had to choose between their mental well-being and their finances.
This vision became Sea Change Therapies,
a space where accessible, affordable therapy is accessible to all.

Morven Cuthbertson MBACP (Accred.)
Counsellor, Supervisor, EMDR Therapist
I am an accredited counsellor, supervisor and EMDR therapist. Working as a therapist for over a decade, I bring a wealth of experience working with a wide range of clients and the issues that can be brought to therapy, including anxiety and depression, personality disorders, gender issues, substance misuse, suicide and self-harm, domestic abuse, trauma, childhood abuse, long-term and life-limiting health conditions, bereavement, and relationship issues. I have worked within the 3rd sector, in private practice, for IAPT and EAPs.
I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Pluralistic Counselling from Abertay University, a COSCA certificate in Counselling Supervision, and I am a qualified EMDR practitioner.
I have special interest and training in the areas of addictions, trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues, and how these issues often intersect.
I create a safe and therapeutic environment where clients are respected, understood, and supported. Central to my practice is working to create a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, where clients can feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings, and explore their issues and experiences, without fear of judgement.
I offer both in person and online sessions, allowing my clients to engage in therapy in a way that's most comfortable and convenient for them.

Cindy Cromar MBACP (Accred.)
Pluralistic Counsellor
Hi there, I’m Cindy, a qualified counsellor based in the East Neuk of Fife. As an accredited registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I hold an MSc in Counselling and a PG Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.
I am a trauma-informed counsellor with experience supporting both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals. Over the years, I have worked with people facing alcohol and addiction challenges, bereavement, anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, and relationship difficulties, among others. I also support those navigating life transitions, interested in personal growth, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding.
How I Work
As a pluralistically trained counsellor with a background in coaching and positive psychology, I believe in empowering people to help themselves—whether you feel stuck, want to create a richer, more fulfilling life, or simply sense that something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start.
My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and client-led. Drawing primarily on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodynamic Therapy, sessions are tailored to meet your needs on the day while keeping sight of your long-term goals.
